I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches and will utilize techniques that will be most beneficial to you. Some of these techniques include, but are not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, bibliotherapy, systemic resolution (a specific trauma approach), experiential therapy, expressive therapy, and Adlerian sandtray. In working with children, I am trained in both child-centered play therapy and in interactive skills training and behavioral development. I am also trained in faith-based counseling, and Christian counseling is available for those who are interested in it. However, I believe that an individual’s faith and spirituality is very personal, and I am sensitive to my clients’ positions regarding their beliefs.
